We used a Sanskrit word to name our villa because the many translated definitions are so fitting to describe it: welfare, auspicious, beautiful, well, lovely, excellent, happy, agreeable, right, virtuous, prosperous, illustrious, beneficial, fortunate, good, noble, salutary, lucky, fair, generous, virtue, festival, good fortune, gold, happiness, wellbeing, heaven, prosperity.

Undeniably beautiful, Villa Kalyana is an exclusive beachfront estate within a private bay on Koh Samui’s idyllic south shore. The lush palm tree plantation, fringed by the icing sugar sands and clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam, set the surroundings for this unforgettable villa.

The Villa is run like a resort. You will be greeted and picked up at the airport, check in like in a hotel, the Villa manager will introduce you to all facilities and services and will be present to fulfil all your wishes. We currently have one European on-site manager; Mr. Renaud (Belgian) and a full-time staff of 17.

The villa manager supervises Kalyana and brings a great wealth of experience to the position, so all questions or requests are handled quickly from initial enquiry to check in. The in-villa team lives on-site so always close at hand 24 hours a day. They ensure guests are taken care of always, make up the rooms unobtrusively and maintain the daily running of the villa.

The private in-house chef serves up Thai and western dishes from an extensive menu. Villa Kalyana provides a comprehensive concierge service offering advice and bookings to help guests make the most of the island.
